To Make Up For My Slacking...

I am a horrible blogger, my apologies! I think the reason why I don't blog as often as I should is because I feel like no one is reading it or cares what I have to say. Maybe if I become more loyal to this whole thing and continue to throw in a witty or comical comment here and there, more people will read! College is going fantastic and I am really enjoying my time as an Aggie! I am working as a part-time nanny for a sweet little 7 month old baby boy named Archer! He is the sweetest little child I think that I have ever watched. See for yourself:

I also had a very important audition on the 11th of February for the Music Therapy Program at Utah State. It was quite the complex stuff! I sang a classical piece called Ombre Mi Fu, that was accompanied by my cute new buddy Katelyn who also auditioned. Also, I played Missy Higgins' Warm Whispers on guitar and A Fine Frenzy's Almost Lover on the piano. I feel like my audition went really good and I don't see any reason why I would not make the program but we will just have to wait and see. I will be notified by "March 20th", so keep your fingers crossed and me in your prayers! I really do not have a back up plan at all... but it is whatever the lord has in store for me.
I am also waiting to hear about a part time office assistant job at the Forest Service in Logan. It is seriously an answer to my prayers that I was able to find it, apply, and get called for a surprise phone interview! I think that I am totally qualified because of my previous experience working as a student at the BLM here in Ely. I never thought I'd say this but I actually miss that job; I definitely took it for granted.  I hope that I can land this job as well! At this forest service job, I will be working 2 full days a week so with nannying, I would be working every day of the week besides weekends. It will be wonderful for the summer because I have just about decided that I won't be taking classes. I just want to work and save money, and do something financially smart for a change!
